25th Anniversary Celebration

On November 2, 1998, Norwin Area Meals On Wheels prepared and delivered its first meals to approximately 50 households in the Norwin Area. After twenty- five years and over 500,000 nutritious meals served, we are preparing to commemorate this milestone by celebrating our 25th Anniversary on Friday November 3rd at Ferrante’s Lakeview Lounge in Greensburg.

As we continue in our third decade, we would like to ensure that NAMOW will be operational for another 25 years. In order to accomplish this, we are undertaking a major fundraising effort. In our 25th year, we would like to raise a minimum of $25,000. Although our expenses have increased, we continue to subsidize a portion of our meals so that our meals are affordable to our recipients.
